Oregon has many beautiful scenes that, in my opinion, displays the 'Painted Hills' is at the top of the list. We spend a good deal of time visiting those locations not only to take pictures of the beauty available, but to stand in aw of God's gifts which are on display for all to see. A benefit of visiting those scenes includes the distance you are in thought from the many negatives which are orchestrated by many who live in this country and who believe their roll in life is to find ways to negate what they have been blessed with.
I have always had a strong love of the arts. For many years I tried Oil and Watercolor painting but never felt that the results matched my vision. Photography was 1st introduced to me by my parents when I was about 7 years of age. At times I would get in trouble because I wanted to use the film for scenic pictures rather than relatives. This love of photography gave me the opportunity to take many pictures while serving in the Army in Korea during the mid 50's. Now being retired, my wife and I travel the Northwest on short photo junkets. Thanks for stopping by and viewing my pictures.
