Artist's Description

During the early years of the city of Seattle, one of the pleasures of the day was to join with friends for a friendly cup of coffee. Now that I think about it, we still enjoy starting the day that way. The inspiration for this digital painting came from a photo that I took 3-4 years ago while visiting the Seattle Farmers Market. This scene was approximately 1 block east of the market. I did take the liberty of creating this painting to depict an earlier era.

About Dale Stillman

Dale Stillman

I have always had a strong love of the arts. For many years I tried Oil and Watercolor painting but never felt that the results matched my vision. Photography was 1st introduced to me by my parents when I was about 7 years of age. At times I would get in trouble because I wanted to use the film for scenic pictures rather than relatives. This love of photography gave me the opportunity to take many pictures while serving in the Army in Korea during the mid 50's. Now being retired, my wife and I travel the Northwest on short photo junkets. Thanks for stopping by and viewing my pictures. All images shown in this portfolio are owned by the artist Dale Stillman and are protected under US and International copyright laws. Any reproduction,...
