Description
During 1954 & 1955 I was stationed in Inchon Korea as a Medic. I had many opportunities to visit Orphanages and treat the kids. I always took a camera w/me. On many occasions the camera w/b an 8mm movie camera. I have been able to have these films copied to a DVD off which I have captured frames. Unfortunately the quality is not good due to the era these pictures were taken but w/the use of Photoshop I have been able to improve them somewhat. I hope you enjoy these. Thanks for viewing.

What a treasure this is, the joy of the children trancends the years, thanks for posting this!

Yes, I agree with Lenore that the effect here is haunting -- the softness and the subtle colors give it a timeless feeling. Fantastic and deeply moving image!

I absolutely love this, Dale!~My father went to Korea in the 60's to write a book and came back with many stories. So, this has special significance for me. But I love the b&w and the sense of movement, and what you've done in the processing here. It wouldn't be the same if it were perfectly clear. This is amazing and a fave for sure...
