Artist's Description
A challenge awaits all travelers who cruise along Highway 84 approximately 100 miles east of Portland, Oregon. To your left you have the beauty of the massive Columbia River and to your right are the rouged hills that display all types of rock formations and in certain locals, the wild sheep. Being that there is no area on the side of the highway for a person to pull over, it is necessary to have 'camera ready' for the quickly passing photo opportunity.
About Dale Stillman
I have always had a strong love of the arts. For many years I tried Oil and Watercolor painting but never felt that the results matched my vision. Photography was 1st introduced to me by my parents when I was about 7 years of age. At times I would get in trouble because I wanted to use the film for scenic pictures rather than relatives. This love of photography gave me the opportunity to take many pictures while serving in the Army in Korea during the mid 50's. Now being retired, my wife and I travel the Northwest on short photo junkets. Thanks for stopping by and viewing my pictures. All images shown in this portfolio are owned by the artist Dale Stillman and are protected under US and International copyright laws. Any reproduction,...
