Artist's Description
During the years 1954-1955, I had the privilege of serving as a Med Tec in the U.S. Army. I was stationed at the Inchon Replacement Depot. On my off hours I would look for photo opportunities using a slide camera, Argus C3. This painting was done based upon one of those photos. Thanks for looking.
About Dale Stillman
I have always had a strong love of the arts. For many years I tried Oil and Watercolor painting but never felt that the results matched my vision. Photography was 1st introduced to me by my parents when I was about 7 years of age. At times I would get in trouble because I wanted to use the film for scenic pictures rather than relatives. This love of photography gave me the opportunity to take many pictures while serving in the Army in Korea during the mid 50's. Now being retired, my wife and I travel the Northwest on short photo junkets. Thanks for stopping by and viewing my pictures. All images shown in this portfolio are owned by the artist Dale Stillman and are protected under US and International copyright laws. Any reproduction,...
