Description
On a blustery day we walked the shore observing the glorious ships cruse by and just by chance I look away and high on the hill stood this magnificent white church. At that moment, the verse ‘On a Hill Far Away stood an Old Rugged Cross’ graced my thoughts. Although this was not the Old Rugged Cross, the symbol of the Cross stood at the uppermost of the steeple. This place of worship was placed above the local town so that those living in it’s shadows or those of us just passing by would be comforted by it’s presence. Thank you for thinking of us.

Thank you, Dale, for your comment. I've been trying all day to get on FAA...technical difficulties! There is something special about this piece which seems to be symbolic of all things RELIGION and churches should be. My bend is more "spiritual" but I appreciate this work very much. Wonderful....
