This painting is of the wildlife reserve in Ridgefield, Washington. It's beginning as a painting was dramatically different from what I have posted here as I have made some major changes from the photograph that was used to create this painting. Hope you enjoy this and thank you for looking.
I have always had a strong love of the arts. For many years I tried Oil and Watercolor painting but never felt that the results matched my vision. Photography was 1st introduced to me by my parents when I was about 7 years of age. At times I would get in trouble because I wanted to use the film for scenic pictures rather than relatives. This love of photography gave me the opportunity to take many pictures while serving in the Army in Korea during the mid 50's. Now being retired, my wife and I travel the Northwest on short photo junkets. Thanks for stopping by and viewing my pictures.
